Marci's Story (told by Marci's Foster Mom):
Marci is the sweetest dog I've ever met, and such a joy to foster. I would adopt her in a second if I could. She follows me around the house, always wants to be near me, and likes to lean on me to get petted. She just adores people and attention. Everyone who meets Marci absolutely loves her and wants to take her home with them. But she is still waiting for that perfect, special forever home, that is meant just for her!
Her best friend is one of my Rottie boys, Leo. They play and pal around constantly. She always knows how to put him in his place, though. Marci is definitely the "queen bee" who rules over my boys! Marci needs to be in a home with at least one male dog around her age and size, she loves having a playmate and companion. She doesn't like being an only dog child!
Marci is very mannerly, too. She always sits when asked, takes treats gently, never jumps on people, and rides really well in the car. When she lies down, she crosses her front paws like a "proper" lady (it's really cute). She also loves playing with her balls, fuzzy toys (which don't last long with her!) and Kong Wubbies. Whoever is lucky enough to adopt Marci will be welcoming a true best friend and darling girl into their home.
Additional details...
Marci is 3 years old and needs a home with a male companion dog. Marci was originally rescued along with her littermates when they were 8 weeks old so we know her very well and understand her needs. Marci was adopted initially to a home as the "only child", but she was not happy.
Marci is a sweet, happy dog that is housebroken, spayed, current on vaccines, and microchipped. She has no history of being around cats.
